Content and social media have inadvertently been an integral part of my life. Born in 1999, I’ve grown up alongside the ever-changing world of social media and technology, so I’ve quite literally lived and breathed each platform as it’s evolved. From the original YouTube days, to Vine, Musical.ly and now TikTok, I’ve watched platforms, trends and the way we consume content completely transform.
And, if my 18-hour daily screen time is anything to go by, social media is still a pretty huge part of my identity!
YouTube has always remained at the heart of that for me. I love the longer-form, more personal nature of the platform and the feeling of comfort and escapism that comes with it. As I’ve grown older, podcasts have become another firm favourite, which is one of the reasons I’m so excited to see what kind of long-form content will be created at Illuminate.
My favourite part of the studio is the handmade, bespoke ceiling drapes. They’re not only beautiful and completely unique to the space, but they bring an instant sense of calm to the studio.
I’ve always loved creating content, even before I knew that it was something I could turn into a career. I’ve always been the first to capture a moment when I’m with friends, whether it’s taking the perfect photo, filming a fun moment or putting together a story for everyone to reshare.
From creating visuals and experimenting with different ideas to having an eye for what looks good, it’s always been something I’ve naturally enjoyed. Over time, this passion has grown into a career creating visually engaging content that helps brands build a strong and authentic online presence.
Having worked across a variety of industries, including beauty, lifestyle, and fashion, I understand how to create content that not only looks good but also connects with audiences.
I love bringing ideas to life through carefully curated visuals, reels, and carousels. My favourite feature of the content studio is the staircase, as I love how it adds depth and dimension to content, especially when paired with the wall panelling to create the perfect backdrop for capturing standout visuals.
I have a strong eye for strategy and creative content ideas, and I know how to bring brands to life online through content that feels engaging, relevant and full of personality.
My favourite social media platform is TikTok. I love how it is constantly changing, from fast-moving trends to creative formats, and the power it has to give brands a real viral moment. Outside of work, I love documenting snippets of my own life too, from holiday vlogs to football moments. I like that TikTok feels fun, reactive and not too serious.
My favourite camera tool is my G7X, as I love capturing the perfect Instagram photo while also vlogging memories to look back on. I am definitely that person who will take lots of pictures to get the perfect carousel, and yes, I will spend a good hour finding the right sound to go with it.
My favourite part of the content studio is the artisan wall, as I love how interchangeable it is and how easily it can be adapted to suit each shoot. Although I may be slightly biased, I genuinely think the studio as a whole is the perfect place for brands to shoot content. As a social media manager, I know how important it is to capture as much high-quality content as possible in one shoot. Illuminate was designed with that in mind, helping brands get the most out of their content days.
Social media and content creation have always been a huge part of my identity. You’ll rarely find me without a phone in my hand, filming anything and everything, from family vlogs to full content shoots for clients. I’ve always loved capturing the little details!
I love all social platforms for different reasons, but when it comes to actually creating content, my DJI Osmo Pocket is my go-to. I love how small and effortless it is, because it means I can capture content naturally without feeling like I’m carrying around a full camera setup. The stabilisation makes everything feel instantly more polished, while still keeping that raw, authentic feel that performs so well on social. It’s perfect for movement, behind-the-scenes moments and those spontaneous shots that you simply wouldn’t want to miss.
My favourite part of Illuminate is The Dark Edit. The deep, dark and black tones create such a contrast against the whites, beiges and lighter shades throughout the rest of the studio.
