FAQ.

What is the minimum booking length? 
Our minimum booking duration is 4 hours (half day booking), giving you plenty of time to set up, shoot and pack away without feeling rushed. 

What is the maximum booking length? 
Bookings can be made for up to 7 hours, available by booking the studio for a full day. If you require the studio for longer, please get in touch. 

Can I book a same-day session? 
 Yes! Same-day bookings are available subject to availability. 

How far in advance can I book? 
Bookings can be made up to 6 months in advance, making it easy to secure dates for campaigns, launches and seasonal shoots. 

Do you offer recurring or discounted bookings? 
Yes. If you're a content creator, agency or brand looking for regular studio hire or a larger booking package, we'd love to hear from you. Please email info@illuminatecontentstudio.co.uk to discuss your requirements and available options. 

Is there a maximum occupancy? 
Yes. The studio has a maximum capacity of 8 people per booking unless otherwise agreed. 

Can I arrive early? 
Please don't arrive more than 10 minutes before your booking begins. If you arrive early, you're welcome to wait in your car, use the seating area on the ground floor or enjoy the on-site cafe facilities until your booking starts. 

What happens if I'm late? 
Your booking will still finish at the originally scheduled time. Unfortunately, we cannot extend sessions due to late arrivals. 

Can I stay after my booking? 
No. We kindly ask all guests to vacate the studio promptly at the end of their booking to allow us to prepare for the next client. 

Can I cancel my booking? 
Yes. You can cancel your booking up to 72 hours before your scheduled session and receive a full refund. 

Can I reschedule my booking? 
Yes. Bookings can be rescheduled subject to availability free of charge provided at least 72 hours' notice is given. Rescheduled bookings will be subject to availabilty.  

What happens if Illuminate Content Studio has to cancel? 
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booking, you'll receive a full refund or, if preferred, the opportunity to reschedule. 

Is the studio private? 
Yes. Every booking is for exclusive use of the entire studio and your booking is completely private. However, a member of the Illuminate team will be available on-site should you require any assistance during your session. 

How many sets are included? 
Your booking includes access to 10 unique content sets, allowing you to create a wide variety of content without changing location. 

Does the studio have natural light? 
Yes. The studio benefits from beautiful natural daylight when the curtains are open. 

Each set also features ambient lighting, and professional studio lighting is available for use throughout your booking. 

Do you have blackout curtains? 
Yes. Black and beige blackout curtains are available, allowing you to control natural light or use them as clean photographic backdrops. 

Furniture & Props 

What furniture is included? 
Furniture includes: 

What props are included? 
A wide range of styling props are included, including vases, candles, books, lamps and decorative accessories. Alternative seasonal props are also be available throughout the year. 

Are the props updated? 
Yes. We regularly refresh our props and update the styling throughout the year to keep the studio looking fresh and on trend. 

Can I move the furniture? 
Absolutely. We simply ask that all furniture be lifted rather than dragged to avoid damaging the flooring. 

Do I need to put everything back? 
Yes please. We ask that all furniture and props be returned to their original positions before you leave. 

Are there enough plug sockets? 
Yes. There are power sockets throughout the studio, including within the floor, changing rooms and perimeter walls. 

Extension leads are also available if you require additional power. 

Are there changing rooms? 
Yes. The studio includes a changing room with curtains for privacy. 

Are clothing rails provided? 

Yes. Two clothing rails are included, complete with both wooden and black hangers. 

Do you provide steamers? 

We don't currently supply a steamer, but you're welcome to bring your own.

Yes. The studio includes: 

Is Wi-Fi included? 
Yes. Complimentary Wi-Fi is included with every booking. 

Is it suitable for uploading content? 

Our Wi-Fi is suitable for general content uploads and day-to-day use. While we aim to provide a reliable connection, we cannot accept liability for any interruptions or outages beyond our control. 
 
Is there a Bluetooth speaker? 

Yes. A speaker is available for music during your session and you're welcome to enjoy music during your booking. 

Can I charge my phone? 

Yes. Plug sockets are available throughout the studio. Please note that charging cables are not provided. 

What types of shoots is the studio suitable for? 

Illuminate Content Studio is suitable for a wide range of creative projects, including: 

Is the studio suitable for video? 

Yes. The studio has been designed with both photography and videography in mind. 

Can I record sound? 

Yes. If you're recording podcasts or professional audio, you'll need to bring your own sound recording equipment or enquire about hiring equipment through us. 

Are children allowed? 

Yes. Children are welcome for family sessions or children's shoots but must remain supervised by a responsible adult at all times. 

Children under 12 should not accompany adult-only shoots unless previously agreed or supervised by a non-participating adult. 

Are pets allowed? 
Unfortunately, pets aren't permitted within the Content Studio. Thank you for your understanding. 

Can I bring food? 
You're welcome to bring a drink with a secure lid, but we kindly ask that you don't bring food into the content studio to help keep the space clean and camera-ready. Thank you! 

Are there any prohibited materials? 

The following items are not permitted without prior written approval: 

If you're planning a styled shoot involving any specialist materials, please contact us beforehand. 

Is CCTV in operation? 

Yes. CCTV operates within the building for security and safety purposes. 

Can I have products delivered before my booking? 

Unfortunately not. Please bring all products and equipment with you on the day of your booking. 

Can I leave items to be collected afterwards? 

No. We don't have storage facilities, so all items must leave with you at the end of your booking. 

What do I need to do before leaving? 

Before your session ends, please: 

Can agencies book on behalf of clients? 

Absolutely. We regularly work with agencies, brands and marketing teams. 

Do you work with influencers and content creators? 

Yes. We love welcoming creators, influencers and UGC specialists into the studio. 

Can you recommend photographers or videographers? 

Yes. If you're looking for creative support, we're happy to recommend trusted photographers and you can book our content creation services alongside your booking.  

Can I hire the studio for workshops or events? 

Yes. The studio is suitable for community events, workshops, yoga classes and other creative gatherings. Please get in touch to discuss your plans. 

Can I bring my own furniture, props or decorations? 

Yes, within reason. You're welcome to bring your own props, furniture, balloon displays and temporary decorations. Please don't use nails, screws, thumbtacks or strong adhesive tapes that could damage painted surfaces. Larger furniture items, installations or more substantial decorations must be agreed with us in advance. Any balloons or decorations must be removed and disposed of before your booking ends. 

Can I film commercial projects? 

Yes. Commercial filming is welcome. 

Do you accept student projects? 

Absolutely. Students are welcome to book the studio. 

Are there toilets? 

Yes. The building has men's, women's and accessible toilet facilities. 

Is the building accessible? 

Yes. Lift access is available throughout the building. 

Is there heating or air conditioning? 

The studio will be equipped with heaters and fans (when necessary) to keep the space comfortable throughout the year.

Do you offer out-of-hours bookings? 

Yes. Out-of-hours bookings may be available by prior arrangement. Please contact us to discuss your requirements. 

Are bookings self-service? 

No. A member of the Illuminate Content Studio team will be on-site to welcome you and assist if needed during your booking.

Will the studio look exactly like the photos? 

We regularly refresh our styling, furniture and seasonal décor to keep the studio feeling fresh and inspiring. While every effort is made to keep our website and social media up to date, some props, accessories and layouts may vary slightly from the images shown. 

These updates do not affect your booking and are part of the ongoing evolution of Illuminate Content Studio.
