Illuminate Content Studio Terms & Conditions 

By accessing our website or placing a booking for the hire of Illuminate Content Studio, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made directly through our website or any other agreed booking method. 

1. Terms & Conditions 

1.1 General Studio Rules 

To help us keep the studio in excellent condition for every client, you agree to: 

Ensure footwear is clean before entering the studio. Shoes that may mark or damage flooring should not be worn. Illuminate Content Studio reserves the right to refuse future bookings where these standards are not met. 

1.2 Studio Capacity 

The studio has a maximum occupancy of 8 people unless otherwise agreed in writing. This includes photographers, videographers, assistants, models, stylists, clients and any guests. 

1.3 Security Deposit 

A refundable £50 security deposit is required with every booking. 

Provided the studio is left in accordance with these Terms & Conditions, the deposit will be refunded following inspection. Refunds are typically processed within 7 working days, depending on your bank. 

The deposit may be used to cover: 

The Security Deposit is not a limit on the Client’s liability. Where the Studio’s reasonable losses exceed the Security Deposit, the Cleint remians liable for the balance.  

1.4 Damage & Cleaning 

The Client accepts full responsibility for any damage caused during their booking. 

Charges may include, but are not limited to: 

Loss of income where damaged items prevent future bookings 
This includes but is not limited to: 

Marks caused by fake tan, makeup, body oils or similar products 
Clients must not: 

1.5 Studio Equipment 

Any equipment supplied by Illuminate Content Studio must be used safely and only for its intended purpose. Clients bringing their own equipment do so entirely at their own risk. Illuminate Content Studio reserves the right to refuse the use of equipment considered unsafe. 

1.6 Decorative Features 

The studio may include decorative platforms or set features designed solely for photography and content creation. These features are not functional structures and must only be used for static posing or decorative purposes. Use of these features is entirely at the Client's own risk. Illuminate Content Studio reserves the right to prohibit use of any feature where safety may be compromised. 

1.7 Food & Drink 

Food is not permitted within the studio. Clients are responsible for ensuring spills and stains are avoided. 
Unless agreed in advance, the following are prohibited: 

Any material likely to stain or cause excessive cleaning. Additional cleaning or repair costs will be deducted from the security deposit where necessary. 

1.8 Children & Pets 

Children must remain supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Pets are not permitted within the content studio. Owners remain fully responsible for any cleaning or damage caused. 

1.9 Smoking & Vaping 

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited anywhere inside the studio. 

1.10 Health & Safety 

Clients agree to comply with all health and safety guidance whilst using the studio. Emergency exits must remain unobstructed at all times. Any accidents, hazards or damaged equipment should be reported immediately. 

1.11 Illegal or Prohibited Activity 

Illuminate Content Studio may not be used for: 

Or any activity likely to damage the reputation of the studio. Illuminate Content Studio reserves the right to terminate any booking immediately without refund should these conditions be breached. 

2. Bookings 

2.1 Booking Confirmation 

A booking is confirmed only once email confirmation has been issued by Illuminate Content Studio. Clients should notify us immediately if any booking details are incorrect. 

2.2 Booking Amendments & Cancellations 

Bookings may be: 

Bookings cancelled or amended within 72 hours of the booking are non-refundable. 

Should Illuminate Content Studio need to cancel a booking, a full refund will be provided. No further compensation shall be payable. 

2.3 Late Arrivals 

Your booking begins and ends at the scheduled time. Late arrival does not extend your booking. Loading, unloading, setup and pack down must all take place within your booked session. 

2.4 Overtime 

Where availability allows, a discretionary grace period of up to 10 minutes may be offered. Any overrun beyond this will be charged at £1 per minute, calculated from the original booking end time. Where another booking is affected, overtime charges may be deducted from the security deposit or charged to the original payment method. Illuminate Content Studio reserves the right to compensate affected clients using these charges where appropriate. 

3. Studio Appearance 

While every effort is made to keep the studio consistent with imagery shown on our website and social media, furniture, props, seasonal styling and layouts may change without notice. 
These updates form part of maintaining and improving the studio and do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund. 

4. Access 

Access instructions and entry codes will be provided prior to your booking. Entry codes are confidential and must not be shared with third parties. Clients are responsible for ensuring the studio is securely locked upon departure. 

5. Parking 

Free car parking is available outside. Vehicles and their contents remain entirely at the owner's risk. Illuminate Content Studio accepts no responsibility for theft, damage or parking charges.

7. Photography & Social Media 

We love seeing your work! Please tag @IlluminateContentStudio when sharing content created in the studio. Illuminate Content Studio may photograph or film the studio between bookings for promotional purposes. No Client content will ever be photographed or shared without prior permission. 

8. Wi-Fi 

Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided for convenience. Illuminate Content Studio does not guarantee uninterrupted internet access and accepts no liability for service interruptions. 

9. Deliveries 

Deliveries or collections outside of your booked session cannot be accepted unless agreed in advance. 

10. Lost Property 

Lost property will be retained for up to 30 days where practical. Items remaining unclaimed after this period may be disposed of or donated. 

11. Liability 

Except where required by law, Illuminate Content Studio accepts no responsibility for: 

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the value of the booking. Nothing within these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any liability that cannot legally be excluded. 

12. Force Majeure 

Illuminate Content Studio shall not be liable for failure to fulfil bookings where prevented by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

13. Privacy 

These Terms should be read alongside Illuminate Content Studio's Privacy Policy. 

14. Miscellaneous 

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. No third party shall have any right to enforce these Terms. These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. 

Acknowledgement 

By making a booking with Illuminate Content Studio, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Booking Terms & Conditions. You also confirm that you are responsible for ensuring all members of your party comply with these Terms throughout your booking.
